WELCOME!
Welcome to the College
of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana
at Monroe.
The College
of Business Administration
offers 12 degree programs, 11 of which are accredited. AACSB International
accredited programs include Accounting, Computer Information Systems,
Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, General Business, Insurance, Management,
and Marketing. We are one of approximately 8% of Business Colleges in the
world that has separate accreditation for Accounting. Additionally, the
College of Business
offers an accredited MBA program on the ULM
campus and in Hong Kong in conjunction with Shue Yan College.
Our MBA program in Hong Kong has been
growing since its inception nearly 30 years ago.
In addition to AACSB-International accredited
programs, the College offers undergraduate programs in Aviation, Computer
Science, and Construction Management. These programs joined the College
during the Fall 2005 semester as part of a reorganization of the University.
We are excited about the opportunities that these new programs bring to the
College. Computer Science, accredited by ABET, joins
our Computer Information Systems group and makes the College the technology
leader on campus. The School of Construction became one of the first American
Council for Construction Education accredited programs to join an
AACSB-International accredited College
of Business. The
program has a long history of success and continues to have 100% placement of
its graduates. Students pursuing a degree in Aviation are prepared for a
variety of jobs in the aviation industry. The program is a candidate for
accreditation with Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI).
The AABI Board of Trustees will act on the visiting team's report at their July 2008 meeting.
There are lots of exciting things happening in the
CBA! I invite you to look through our web pages to learn more. Whether you
are a prospective student, alumni, or a friend of ULM,
I also invite you to come visit our campus and see how the College of Business
Administration is continuing the tradition of
providing a great education and great futures.
